County-wide system of trails

trail map for 2008

This county-wide system of trails links sidewalks, bike lanes, and local pathways into an integrated network for safe, non-motorized travel in Pierce County.

    Our vision

ForeverGreen Council in cooperation with the Rivers and Trails Office of the National Park Service created this map of proposed trails in Pierce county.  The trails are proposed plans approved by cities, Community Plans, park departments and other jurisdictions.

This county wide system of parks represents over 100 miles of proposed trails, of which less than 30 miles is completed. Won't you join us in turning this map into reality?  We want to connect all the communities in the Pierc County and their parks with a system of trails.
